The most stunning race you will do all year. Starting and finishing in the grounds of the majestic Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford. The race starts in the shadow of this beautiful grade II listed building in the Cheshire Village of Over Peover. It then snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.
We provide cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd open male and female. There is a prize for 1st male and female teams. There will be a drink station at the 5km point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line not to mention the huge bespoke medal for all finishers for which the race has now become famous.
The race is UKA licenced and we will again be using the most up to date chip-timing with finish line footage and social media integration. There is plenty of free parking at the site as well as a bag drop.
We ask that all runners will have to complete the race under 1 hour and 30 mins to allow the roads to be reopened. Anyone still on the course after that will become a ‘prudent pedestrian’ and join the footpaths back to the finish.
Entrants must be 15 and over on race day. Entry fee for the 10k is £19.00 for UKA affiliated runners and £21.00 for non-affiliated runners.
There is a £3.00 surcharge for on the day entries if there are any places available.
